Advantages of Renewable Energy Uncovered!
Advantages of Renewable Energy: With catastrophes of great proportions happening here and there, it seems that we humans have finally absorbed the fact that global warming is real and it’s already taking its toll on us. This could be the reason why more people seek the protection and the preservation of the environment as they call for switching to renewable energy. But while many people are already aware of renewable energy sources solar, wind, water, geothermal and biological processes they are not really aware how any of these energy sources can be of help to the environment.
It’s a fact that global warming came about because of the trapped gases in the atmosphere especially carbon. As more and more carbon build up in the atmosphere, the hotter and hotter the world become. Why? Because heat can’t escape and bounces back to the earth, thus, constantly increasing the global temperature. Now, where do these carbon emissions come from?From the fossil fuels that humans burn. Vehicles that run on diesel or gasoline and other industries such as electric companies are pointed out to be the main culprits. Can you blame the environmentalists if they take their concerns to the street just convince more people and pressure their governments to adapt renewable energy sources?
The above-mentioned renewable energy sources don’t pollute the environment. That’s a very clear point. For instance, in the case of solar and wind powers, they only make use of the power of the sun and the wind and convert them to a usable form of energy, which is electricity. There is no burning involved, thus, no carbon is emitted. No carbon emissions, no pollution to the environment.
Another advantage of a renewable energy source is that, well, as the name suggests, it’s renewable. It means that we don’t deplete its sources for we are only making use of what is readily available in nature. What we simply do here is just convert what nature has gifted us into useful electricity, useful power. There is no burning and depleting of what took years to form fossil fuels.
Lastly, renewable energy source, especially solar and wind powers, can enable us to save some money. Of course, we will have to spend some cash on getting them installed in our respective houses but the pay off is great, more than what we have spent on them.
Some of you may disagree with certain points I have made here but there is no denying that renewable energy sources don’t pollute the environment. When there is no pollution, global warming is decreased, or even may be diminished in the long run. No global warming, less natural catastrophes. Less natural catastrophes, less lives lost. You see, even just for the reason that renewable energy sources don’t contribute to damaging the environment is already enough to convince us to switch to renewable energy source!
